Shortly I will offer a download for the LOD's.

Currently the whole "27-side" has ca. 20.000 trigons... :)
And I still have, while ramp start with 15 F-16's on the ground, min. 35 FPS.
With 6 F-16's on the ground, 40+ FPS...
It is still testing!
The most of that hundreds of buildings are simple "10 trigons buildings".
The "issue" is/are the tiles..., they are not made for 3D buildings!
So I'm currently thinking it over to update city tiles to have more "square areas", which would heavily reduce the trigons.
And its a kind of pain to place hundreds of buildings!. :)

But also it seems to me, that 20.000, 30.000 trigons more is not really a "problem".
Because as I updated my already existing LOD's for a city I forgot, that I already placed them more then one time..., up to 4 times.
And one new LOD can have up to 7500 trigons!
So I had a short time ca. 100.000 trigons loaded, but I couldn't notice a FPS drop. Still ca. 35 FPS...

My computer: i3-6100 3,7 GHz, GTX 1060 6 GB, SSD, 16 GB RAM


Further:

I would really like to have some hills inside an airbase area.
(Like IRL at 27 side from Osan Airbase, compare with the last pic in that currently table)
Its not a problem for the 3D model itsself, it's a texture "problem".
Because, IMHO, it should be real looking ground, but fitting to the look of the tiles...
